Below is the tutorial showing how to batch enroll tokens using the Directory Administration Tool.
This tutorial will demonstrate how to use the next generation version of the Directory Administration tool to batch enroll tokens for use with Duo 2 Factor login.
Begin by logging into the application by using your e-token.
Once logged in, you will be presented with a brief audit of the last management actions you've performed using this tool.
To start the batch enrollment process you will need a properly formatted comma separated value file, also known as a CSV file. Once you have your CSV file ready, click the Administration tab.
You will have the option to select from multiple token types which are supported by this application. For the purposes of this demonstration, we will choose the Yubikey Token type.
Browse and select your CSV file to continue. Once selected, click the "Batch Enroll Yubikey(s)" button to continue.
Notice the newly created job button under the application header indicating your active batch jobs. You will be presented with a percentage of completion throughout the process.
Click the button to maximize the dialogue to see the status of your current enrollment batch job. You may also minimize this dialogue back under the application header and continue to use the application normally.
If there are any issues during this process, the batch job status will change to pause and will await further user action. At that point, you may see the error at the output window. You may choose to finish and cancel this job or skip this error and resume.
Once completed, the job status will change to done indicating that this job has finished. You may click "Close".
If there are any issues with your CSV file, they will be displayed to you at the beginning of this process as demonstrated. The output window will indicate exactly where the issue was with the file. At this point, you may fix your CSV file and begin the process once again.
This concludes the tutorial of demonstrating how to use the next generation version of the Directory Administration tool to batch enroll tokens for use with Duo 2-Factor login.
