Requirements

Problem Statements

  • There exists no means to determine what portion of a person's record has changed when that change is replicated from Banner.
  • There exists no means to make Banner replication changes at the EJB layer.

Functional Requirements

  1. Ability to receive a XML messages from the Banner Replication SAR.
  2. Ability to inspect a person's record based on the XML and determine what portion of that record has changed.
  3. Ability to make a partial record change in the Registry using a session bean.

Nonfunctional Requirements

  1. Must be implemented as a clustered stateless session bean.
